Flight Operations Working Group (FOWG)

 

​Description

The purpose of the ATA Flight Operations Working Group (FOWG) is to develop and maintain industry standards for the exchange of digital Flight Operations Data, including Approval, Flight and Cabin Crew Operating Procedures, Limitations, System Descriptions, Performance, Dispatch, Substantiation and Weight and Balance.

FOWG is responsible for ATA Spec 2300, Data Exchange Standard for Flight Operations.  which provides a concise set of information standards and guidelines for the management, configuration, and interchange of flight operations technical and operational content for fixed-wing and rotorcraft..
